When you create a email list you create a relationship with a visitor/customer. Instead of the visitor going to your site, and never going back again. They can fill out a form, and they will be receiving emails from you all the time. Emails that will 'remind' them to go visit your site again.
Also, if you start sending them emails with lots of useful information, then you will be known as an expert in the field, and they will have trust in what you say. So, if you run a website and don't have a list, then let's get started.
